Can Chiropractic Help With COVID-19?

Updated: Aug 14, 2020

At this time of uncertainty, fear, and illness, we at Muscle Works are determined to help you fortify yourself. Chiropractic actually has a long history of being incredible successful in times of epidemic disease. As early as the 1917 Spanish Influenza, chiropractic became a source of hope and health.

In New York City, 1918, the influenza epidemic expanded to include severe cases of pneumonia. National figures (recorded exactly since NYC considered both diseases reportable) show exactly how successful chiropractic was in increasing survival compared to treatment and medication prescribed by medical doctors.

Influenza

                                                                   Cases                  Deaths

Under medical methods                                 10,000                950

Under drugless methods (chiropractic)        10,000                25

Pneumonia

                                                                  Cases                  Deaths

Under medical methods                                 10,000                6,400

Under drugless methods (chiropractic)          10,000                100

While certainly our current circumstances are different, and the world is significantly different from the world of 1917–1918, giving your body the chance for optimal function is the first and greatest defense against all immune attacks. COVID-19, like influenza and pneumonia, will have significantly less chance to harm you and your loved ones.

We at MuscleWorks are here to help you, to fortify you. We are taking measures to ensure your health and to help you to #reachhigher.
